The Service Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the store with a specific focus on customer experience at Lorton Auto Service Center. They play a pivotal role in both the operational and cultural success of the business and tasked with driving store sales and profitability. They blend leadership, customer service, and business strategy to create a dynamic, results-driven environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Greet customers courteously and professionally, building positive relationships.
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments efficiently.
- Ensure accurate documentation of vehicle service and repair records.
- Collaborate with the team to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Obtain timely and proper repair authorizations.
- Build relationships with customers by communicating the status of their vehicle.
- Document, verbally communicate and sell the recommendations provided by the Service Manager or Store Manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective vehicle repair.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of retail management experience preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of vehicles
- Strong customer service skill and interpersonal/ communication skills
- A professional personal appearance
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
